With  over 13 years of successful experience, VAC's Early Education and Care Program in Rutland encompasses a wealth of knowledge in Early Childhood Development and enriched curriculum.  At its 88 Park Street facility, VAC's EEC program encompasses eight inclusive classrooms serving approximately 150 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years.

VAC currently collaborates with six area schools to provide programming for school age and preschool aged children directly at the schools.  Our enrichment and preschool programs are based at Barstow Memorial School in Chittenden, Rutland Town School, Sherburne Elementary School in Killington, Castleton Elementary School, Stockbridge Central School, and Fair Haven Grade School.  Each of the programs has begun from the community need for children to have safe and healthy options out of school hours, and the need for children to be ready for school.  Many of the schools that we collaborate with have a half day Kindergarten program.  At these schools, VAC offers a full day of care and education for the Kindergarten children.
