The Sherburne Elementary School, located in Killington Vermont, is a K-6 grade public school. The philosophy of the Sherburne Elementary School incorporates the community members, teachers, parents, administrators, and school directors as a collaborative unit for the purpose of educating the whole child. These equal partners will design an educational environment which will allow each child to develop a sense of academic responsibility, a positive self-image, pride and support for family, school and community, respect for the democratic process and the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential.
